Buenos Aires Market is a weekly rotating outdoor market, moving around the city and gathering together purveyors of local, organic, and international foods. The atmosphere is awesome – people of all ages wander the streets, sampling the amazing goodies on offer and buying more to take home. This Saturday I visited the Saenz Pena location and can’t wait to go again to the next one.

Come hungry. . . they are SO many delicious options. Venezuelan arepas, French crepes, Mexican tacos and burritos, local bakeries, BBQ ribs, empanadas, ice cream. . . the options are endless.

Take-home fare includes beautifully fresh organic veggies and fruit, which is a welcome change from what’s available in city supermarkets. Local honey, mustard, vinegar, oils, juices, cider, and beers are all on offer as well.

I sampled short rib tacos and a brownie from Malvon – both delicious and cheap to boot. I found some goodies to take home as well.

If you’re in the city, check out the Buenos Aires Market website here for the next location and hours. It’s worth a visit!
