Perhaps it´s because of the vast number of Italian immigrants in the city, but you can get some damn good coffee in Buenos Aires. The fanatical “artisan” coffee craze, like the craft beer craze, appears to be picking up speed here.
Full City Coffee House (Palermo Soho): Perfect café cortado, with creamy foamed milk on top of a strong espresso shot.

Ninina (Palermo Soho): A lovely Americano at this light-flooded bakery in Palermo Soho.

Delicious (Recoleta): Serving great Illy coffee, especially the cappuccinos.

Underground (Puerto Madero): Like the rest of Puerto Madero, a little sterile and modern, but properly made coffee nonetheless.

Lattente (Palermo): To-Die-For Flat Whites.
Saturnina (Microcentro): Good espressos and filter coffees.
