While anyone who has lived in Buenos Aires can say that there are likely more things different than the same about Buenos Aires and Paris, one cannot deny the astounding and undeniably French architecture scattered around the city. Following independence and a long civil war, hoards of European immigrants flocked to the country in the late 19th century, radically influencing the culture and leading it to become the 7th wealthiest developed nation in the world in the early 20th century. While a unique city with it’s own special culture and customs, you really can sometimes feel like you are walking the streets of Paris π
